The publishing house Editions First asked me to illustrate their famous collection "Pour Les Nuls". 9 manuals to learn 9 languages.
They gave me a free hand and it was really nice to immerse myself in each region or country to bring out meaningful and evocative visuals at first sight. I really like this colorful collection. Each little book is like a little candy.

Each book has a different color to accentuate the collection. So I had to work around a dominant color imposed.
I conceived these illustrations as small windows full of colors opened on new cultures.
